Sescianna A journey isn't too much A small, tan rabbit pulled herself easily along, practicly swimming. As soon as she hit a small hollow tree, she jumped in and shook her delicate pelt so the cold water went flying in the air. I liked being a rabbit, it made it so much easier to get around. Well....without the water. As soon as I got out of the tree, I transformed into the regular tan deer. I grinned as I looked at my shoulder and spotted the distinct white heart. It was a marking from birth, one I loved so much. When I looked at the marking I felt loved, like something was watching over me.
I continued walking, my breaths even. The thick canopy choked out the sun, making it rather cold and dark.

Rainer smiled, his black pelt glimmering in the dim light emmiting through ther trees. He thought he had scented another deer in these parts. though he was intreagued to see that she could change into a rabbit. thats one for the books, he thought to himself as he strolled causually up to her. "Hello, I am Rainer of the west..." he paused for a moment lauphing in his mind, he liked how that sounded -Rainer of the west- "and how are you this fine day, doe of rabits?" he said, now in a much less conserved way.
On normal ocasions, Rainer would not just walk up to a random doe walking in the woods. but this doe had sparked his curocity, after all she could turn into a rabit, he had not seen that before. plus that, he also noticed some markings on her, and wondered if there was some explanation. Becides, what else was he to do today, it was no good for grazing around here, and he usualy disliked going out in the middle of the woods just to hunt for pleasure.

Sescianna lets see where this will take us. I heard another approaching and turned my head his way, nodding in greeting. I enjoyed talking to others, it seemed to be the only thing to do in this weather, really. Listeing to his first lyrics, I dipped my head. Hello, Rainer. You may call me Sescianna. I come from the west as well. I cooed in my normal soft tone, almost like a mealody as ther escaped my maw. With his brief pause, I knew he was to speak soon. And he did. Doe of rabbits? Is there something that says 'rabbit' on my forehead? I said teasingly, then finished. I be fairly well. Though it would help to know what you also are. You don't smell entirley like a deer. That was an easy way to tell if one was not a full deer. I smelt a bit like a rabbit, and I also had the grace of one.

Rainer laughed good naturedly at her tease, he sure did admire one who could use appropriate humor.
The thought of showing her instead of telling her crossed his mind. then the other side of his mind intervened, what are you trying to do, scare the girl? his mind scolded him, you only do that if the occasion calls for it, like playing or fighting, now TELL HER! And without further adieu, Rainer said "I turn into a black panther."
The heart shaped mark on the doe that had not seemed to be anything, now transfixed me.

I listened to his laugh, and couldn't resist giggiling a bit.
Listening to his words, I quivered a bit. He could turn into a carnivor! That surprised me a bit. If he ever changed infront of me, I could end up the prey. His instincts could tell him to hunt me, to kill me. I doubted he would do that as long as his better part was in tact. But I still would have to worry about it. I sighed, I was overreacting. It was just my instincts telling me to be afraid. So, my feline friend, what did you have in plan for now? Your little rabbit mistress would like to know how you entertain yourself. I cooed, taking a step closer to him. I flinched my skin on my shoulder and the heart did too. I searched his coal pelt, it was quite a thing to look at compared to my easy tan.

Rainer saw her tense for a moment, but only for a moment. And he was relieved that she had calmed down. Rainer would almost never eat meat, and he had never, nor did he ever plan on devouring another deer, even if the other wasn't in the form of a deer. He wouldn't feel morally right if he did.
Upon hearing her remark of him being a -feline friend- he laughed rather silently. He did not know how to respond to this question for it had been much time since he had been able to socialize with others. Then he remembered when he was younger, he would play with the other fawns. But he couldn't think of anything to play. So he looked around for something to talk about.
"so, what's it like being a rabbit?" he asked inquiringly, relieved that he had been able to save himself from the end of a pleasant conversation. He was feeling a little nervous now, as all deer do. He noted to himself with now increasing joy that she had move a step closer. he suddenly had thoughts racing through his head about how grace full she was, of oh beautiful. He shook his head, not knowing where these thoughts had come from. Oh how spring is a strange season indeed, he thought gingerly.
