And so this land shall be mine
And all who reside here I shall protect
The night was silent...no creatures stirred at this hour and no birds filled the air with song. The water lapped lazily at the sandy, silver-colored shore. The ivory froth that rode the small waves to the shore made very little sound upon reaching their destination. Upon these silver-hued sands stood a large, dark figure. A stag indeed, with his proud rack of antlers held high, his dark blue gaze looking silver in the moonlight as he looked off the shore toward something out in the water. A large island rested there, not far from the shore...it was because of this little barrier that the wind did not howl as harshly through this little cove of sorts, it was for this island that the waves did not crash and beat mercilessly into the sand as it did upon many beaches through the vast lands of the world. The thought of this place made the stag smile, yet what kind of deer would he be to let his does live in complete silence? This area would be nice...but no, they needed grass and the like to survive...and he intended to give them just that.
The dark-pelted deer stepped into the gentle surf, the cool, salty water coming in to greet him as he stepped into the liquid. The white froth gathered around his black hooves and as the water receded, seemed to try to drag him into the ocean as well. Kamir walked calmly into the water, feeling it rise and fall around his legs as the small waves came in and back out. When he got halfway toward the island the water only bare reached his belly, it would be easy for any deer to wade across this little stretch of water from the shore to the island that he hoped would be fitting enough for a small harem all his own. Once on the island he went into a steady paced trot inland. The beach met with a grove of sturdy trees he had seen from the shore. He wove in between these and came to an opening, a meadow upon the island that was quite large, which showed the size hidden behind the small appearance of this island from the shore. Further along the meadow, in the distance he could see a lake, fresh water that they could drink that could easily be replenished from the rain.
Kamir smiled, the island was big enough to hold three good sized harem! Surely a small one would be no problem. He walked down to the lake, scenting the ocean air as he went...there was no scent of deer here...was he the first to explore this seemingly desolate island? Well, what a discovery he had made! And he would waste no time in claiming it. He reached the lake and lowered his crown for a drink...and he had been right indeed, the water was fresh, free of the salty tang of the ocean and good enough to drink. Satisfied, Kamir raised his head and let his jaws part, let out a grand bellow, a call to no one in particular...the island was his, and a quiet place it was, though his acute ears could hear the ocean wind further along the island where one could see the grand expanse that was the ocean.
"Should anyone be around, anyone dare want these lands for their own, come forward now and challenge for this realm!" he called defiantly, his dark gaze sweeping the area once more...the king of this island had finally come.

Name; Silent Isle
Description; This island is large, though if you just look at it from the shore of the mainland, it looks small and deserted since the trees on the visible coast are near death. This island is long, though you have to actually be on it, in the meadow to see this seeing as it's length runs perpendicular to the mainland's shore. The island is basically silent, the sound of the wind only soft and rather calming in the meadow, though go to the shore that faces the ocean and it's quite a different story. Near this part of the island is a lake, the water fresh and of drinking quality, making this island a good place for a good number of deer to live.
