|Brook Brook lowered her eyes embarassedly. "Yeah"
She watched him keenly take the new form of falcon, openly envying him for the ability to soar to the sky and drift about in the clouds. She craned her head toward him waiting for him to land. As he did, she reared up and stretched in attempt to memorize his averian form's scent, placing it in her mind for later use.
"Y-Yes... I know you can hear it- all of it too." She stammered as she attempted to quiet her heart, failing miserably. As a fox, she had rivaling hearing, but not the sense of sight that he had, she could smell him easily then though. Brook could tell what he was thinking, returning to her cloven hooves, she eyed him further, attempted to hide her flustered emotions.

Rannoch didn't know how to react... he knew now why her heart was fluttering so violently. And this realization made his own pulse begin to increase, but with a calming breath, he steadied himself before he to lost control. that was a close one, he thought to himself, for if he had waited a moment longer to steady himself, he knew he would have lost control. Lost in emotions. He was not sure if this was a good or bad thing, but he figured to be on the safe side for now, and attempt to keep control. Besides, Rannoch added to his thought, if fate should wish it for me to be swept away in such confusing emotions, then it will overtake me.
Rannoch decided it was time to change back in order to have a proper conversation. He promptly jumped straight into the air, climbing steeply. Once at a suitable altitude, he plummeted toward the ground, pulling up a few feet above the ground, and changed back into his normal deer form, trotting a few steps to steady himself.
"So what exactly do you do for fun around here?" he said, moving his head playfully, trotting back up to stand directly beside her.

|Brook Trotting even nearer to him, she smiled and toseed her head a little. She knew how to play. The lady and does she met in passing would race, spar, or simply talk and groom with one another, chatting of who to look for, and which stags to avoid if they had been spotted harasing any of the lonely ones. Little did he know, there was a connection to the does, almost a sistership formed between these wanderers. They would gatheron scant occasion, and always not for long, and mourn those who left without their will being taken into the equation. At this thought, Brook's ear, which had been erect, drooped.
"Yes, we do. The other does in the area keep in touch with one another. I've been here for a time, so we've gathered and had fun when we're bored. It's always a way to know if certain stags are wandering the wood." She looked down. "There are some who wish never to face a stag in such a calm matter. They never want to be with anybody but does."
She felt responsible for putting a damper on herself, moving beside him to rest her jaw on his rump, sighing. "We've seen stags comethrough and round himself up a herd of does just for their personal enjoyment. I'm sure they're happier now, but hiding was such a stress at those times. We can stand a loss of one or two, but eight? It isn't like I don't want to join a stag ever, but we're such a band. You'll never see them though. But enough of it-" She seeed t move even closer to him, smiling wryly. "I like you. You're sweet and kind." It was blunt, and meant to be. [/blockquote]

Rannoch's smile saddened, as he witnessed the doe's happy ears droop, and heard what she had to say.
Up to this point, Rannoch had been winning the battle within himself. But then as soon as the doe moved closer to him and confessed her feelings, he lost control. His calm mind had suddenly been plunged into a world of pure joy and emotion. Rannoch did not know it yet, but it would be this that controlled his actions.
Upon hearing her confess, his eyes softened. "I... I like you to" he said, trying not to sound stupid. "your courageous, kind, understanding... not to mention beautiful." He said in a soft voice. Then, figuring it was his turn to be courageous, he added "would you like to come live in the Blooming Wood with me? It really is a beautiful place. It has plenty to eat, and the meadow has good protection from the weather of the outside world." He felt a little awkward asking her, but there would be no better time to ask, and besides he really liked this doe.
And indeed the meadow did have different weather than most other places in the land, though Rannoch did not know it the hills surrounding it did something to the wind, as cold fronts came the hills would break the wind and end up detouring bad weather in the meadow.

Brook smiled hopefully up at him, watching as if some mask had fallen from his handsome face. She watched the guard fall from his eyes, her own toppling like some gilded stone castle collapsing to a power beyond its capabilities. She could feel him almost thrum beneath her, pressing her nares into his pelt. Flattered, she made a soft noise, giggling delicately into his strong haunches. It felt simply so right, she couldn’t believe herself. Breaths shuddered in bliss, nerves going taut.
“Thank you. Nobody’s ever told me such words.”
She went to hide her face of the blush accumulating when she heard his offer. This caught her breath- Go away with him to where he lived? After so long in this forest, she remembered little else. After a moment, she listened to his describe it and nodded thoughtfully. She went into her mind and muddled it over, sighing and nuzzling his rump until she lifted her head and smiled.
“I’d love to join you, Rannoch.”
She murmured huskily, word more adoring that lusty. She had no to her way to say it though. It was enrapturing.

Rannoch smiled as she giggled and pressed her soft crown into his side. Must have done something right, he thought happily to himself.
By now Rannoch's head was beginning to ache a little from the confused symphony of thoughts swirling throughout his head like music with no tempo. when Brook turned her head away, These thoughts turned immediately to a confused abstract feeling of worry. Rannoch wondered if he had gone to far by asking her to come to the blooming wood with him. It seemed like forever before her answer came, the pause had been killing him, his thoughts raced now faster than ever, their complexity shone through his mind like a thousand lights dancing upon the ocean. It all gave him a considerable head ache, not only could he not understand them, but they made each and every moment stand for an eternity.
As soon as her quiet answer came, the thoughts meshed together to form a single thought of happiness shining with the brilliance of the daytime star, shooting through his mind like a lazer, he had no other thoughts. It seemed there was nothing else to life but this. The moments before had been like a confused crescendo to the beautiful finale.
Rannoch smiled down at her, and said happily in a soft caring voice "would you like to wait awhile before going or shall we leave now?"
All was right in the world to Rannoch at this point.

|Brook
She chortled a quiet, little giggle as he spoke to her, a light hearted sound that sounded quite in tune with the moment. She nudged his rump and then bounded off a few steps, looking back appearing almost excited. “I’d like to see where you live, if that isn’t much.”
She murmured, flicking her tail as she leapt up, kicking up her heels as she took off. She beamed though as she reappeared in the brush, head lowered. “Let’s see where the great king lives.” She returned beside him, nudging his cheek affectionately. OOC: Sorry, I didn't know what to do, I'm gonna guesswe move to your wonderful plot of land? :3

Rannoch laughed good heartedly at her statement. He pointed his head in the direction of home, and said "then we shall go..."
He was about to begin to lead the way, when he stopped, and turned back to brook. "Brook..." he said, a little unsure at first, "... will you be my lead?"
