Cursico trotted along the bright sandy beach, savouring the warm which seeped into his coat. He wasn't going to eat anything here ever again, not after consuming a mouthful of gritty sand. He rose his head to the sky, still trotting in the high-legged gait which was some sort of deer copyright, and if it wasn't then why the hell not!? Flicking his tail, fluffy and gorgeous as ever, proud as a king behind him, showing off the white underside which was usually used by white-tailed deer to signal danger. Lost in thoughts from the past where he was a young buck in a herd headed by a jealous big, old buck, the shape-shifting deer meandered randomly along the white sand. No real destinatian or plan for the day ahead. His stomach was comfortably full, and his throat had been quenched in a fresh clear stream.

Jack wasn't doing much, but was enjoying the day. He had wandered into Lulu Bay, which was an area full of sand. It was nice and warm out, so was actually pretty comfortable. Jack had never been there before, but so far it looked fine to him. As Jack walked through the sand, he happened to look over to see another stag not too far from him. Jack wasn't sure whether to approach him or not, as he hadn't talked to another stag in a long time, and had no idea how the stag would react. Jack then figured he was bigger enough to defend himself if the other stag wanted to cause trouble.
Jack slowly walked towards the other stag, wondering if they saw him or not. "Hello.." Jack said, just so the other stag would know he was here. He didn't want to scare the stag, so figured saying 'hello' would let the stag know he was there, and that he didn't want to cause any trouble.

Cursico slowly rose his head, surprised that he wasn't surprised by the other buck's words. Like he had expected company just hanging around here. It wasn't that he'd known Jack was there- not really-it felt like he'd been waiting for a friend. With coal black eyes, he appraised his fellow species. A small yet warm smile grew on one side of his face, the oher side turning up a few moments later. "Hellooo!"[/i] He enthused, tossing his head up and down. The other fellow seemed a bit sullen, he couldn't see why. It was a beautiful day, and Cursico was greeting his second spring of life, about this time last year he ws a spindly-legged foal wonderously exploring a fabulously new world with a protective herd there to meet his needs. Luckily, Cursico's thoughts of his family (to whom he was now an exiled buck) did not turn bad, they were the rememberance of good times unspoiled by what happened after. "Nice day huh? Nyuk Nyuk!" He laughed, bouncing his front legs off the ground in a show of spring-time energy.

Laila saw two other deer up ahead. She was sorta lonely so she walked towards tham. "Hi!" she said happily. It was two bucks. She pawed the ground with her hoof. She was a northern doe. They seemed nice and she didn't sense any immediant danger. It was spring which was one of her favorite times. She flicked her short black tail in happiness. It was nice to be among the same species. Espacially since she had been on her own for a few years, two to be exact. She smiled sweetly and waited for one of the two's answer.

Cursico turned his head "Yo Ho! A doe!" He rhymed enthusiasticly, even adding a hearty wink for good measure. "Shiver my timber, I think she might not be here to eat us!" He tossed his head up and down, antlers making whistling noises as they cut through the air. Something about the day was making Cursico very happy, hyper being a more accurate word for how he was feeling. "Eyyy Dahhlin' you ain't a canibal now are ya?"

"No although my sister is." she said with a smirk. She found it strange how even though her sister was her twin they were so different. She was a northern doe, and her sister was a southern. It was also strange how her sister had refrained from eating her all in their three years of living. Sure it was hard not being very near her sister but she lived. Anyways she constantly wondered what her sister was doing when she was doing something. Laila came out of her thinking daze and directed her attention back to the buck. "Now surely a big buck like you must be a cannibal." she said teasingly. Spring was among the woods, and she was happy, and enthusatic. She pawed the groung and flicked a pesty fly away with her tail.

"Hmm" Cursico chewed lightly on his bottom lip. "Can't say I've ever eaten a deer... Or anything bigger than a rabbit for that matter." He grinned, thinking what she said about her sister was a joke. Well, you didn't normally take comments like that seriously, did you? "Though those legs of yours are looking mighty gnawable" He crouched down like a predator, tail flicking up threatiningly.

"Oh im sooo scared!" Laila said sarcastically. She let out a smirk. She put on her best "scared" face. "Guess this means we have to fight." she said with a giggle. She bared her teeth like a predator. "RAWR" she growled. Then she stopped and flicked up her ears. Someone was coming, someone she knew very well.
Botulinum stomped the ground, her red orbs scanning the terra. "Where is my dear little sister?" she asked to noone. Her eyes rested on a identical figure some ways up ahead. There was someone else with her also. She licked away the fresh blood, from a rabbit she had killed just a bit ago, from her lips and padded forward to meet her "twin".

Cursico eyed the dead rabbit with a mixture of disgust and hunger. It was strange being predator and prey at the same time. He supposed if he turned into a fox it would look much more appetising. "Riight..." Was all he could say, with the barest toss of his antlers. Botulinum made him feel anxious for some reason. Well considering the manner she'd come in, it wasn't like his feelings were unfounded. You must be the cannibal.. He thought with a sinking in his gut. He didn't look edible did he? And anyway, young and block-headed though he was, Cursico could still put up a fight when it suited him. Though it would be unfair to suddenly snap on Botulinum before she'd done anything personally to him... Wouldn't it?
