Wish stared at the sky. A cold wind passed over her, causing her to shiver. It was a ghost moon tonight. One that shimmered before her eyes. She liked it here. Here she could forget. A group of menacing clouds massed in the west, raging with furious energy. The very air seemed skittish and filled with frightened energy. But that was how Wish liked it. Let the lesser deer run home to their mothers.
Wish knew that there was a stag here. she could scent him. Ah, well. He'd have to catch her first! With a sudden burst of energy, Wish leaped to her feed and raced through the long grass, feeling as free as the fearless wind. Reveling in her freedom. Lets see those ghosts get her now!

Eclipse was pawing his way up the path, the black coat of the panther made him all but invisible to the world of the night. he paused for a moment, stomach rumbling, and wafted the air. He snapped his head to the left, just in time to see a deer sprint past some fifty yards away. He wanted meet... there was deer... he put two and two together. Besides, he thought, if it's a eastern... they'll defend them selfs, and I'll know that they're worth talking to... but if they defend them selfs and they're southern, THEY DIE! He was remembering the southern attack that wiped his noble herd off the face of the world, every one of the easterners fighting to the death... except himself, who was just two weeks old.
Without further adieu, he sprinted off after the deer, moving fast, and with nay a sound gaining ground quickly, and hugging the ground to avoid being sighted.

Her nostrils flared at the scent of the buck. Ah, and things get exciting. She thought, weaving her way through only half visible clumps of brambles. After all her years, Wish was good at running. She wouldn't have lived past her first moons if she had not been. A ghost howled mournfully behind her, the sound curedly sounding on her ears alone.
Her speed increased as the doe leaped gracefully over a half submerged boulder, speeding up to flee the memory. Let any ghost brave enough to follow her try! The presence of the buck, however, tied her to reality, she could sense his bright mind, a flame that burned brightly against the blue tinged black that was the night and the dim but ever angry presence as a ghost.
When she sensed that the time was right, she abruptly stopped and turned around to face her pursuer. "State your name and purpose." She hissed in a voice that dripped poison.

He followed at a distance, waiting for the doe to tier. When the doe finely stopped, he stayed behind her, keeping low, invisible to the eye.
Eclipse laughed a low harsh tone at her question, "you first" he growled, smiling slightly. Then, knowing tat he had given away his position, he darted silently to the left, keeping hidden.
He was to low to to ground to get a good look at the deer. But by her voice, he could tell it was a doe, and a respectably brave one for stopping. A little stupid, he thought to himself happily, for she must have known that i was following.

Wish snorted, following the bright flame of the Buck's mind with her eyes. "Wish, of the Eastern realms." She stated. "Now you." She glared at the spot of darkness where the buck was hidden. At the buck's words the banished deamons had fled, as was their nature. Good, she was glad to be rid of them.
Adrenaline surged through her veins. Bucks could be stupid. Just because she had no antlers did not mean that she could not fight.

Eclipse popped his head up, looking at the doe from the shadows. good, he thought, she's looking the other way. the jaguar walked silently into the moonlight. He looked at he matterafactly for a moment, then said "And I am Eclipse, of the east..." He was happy that she was of the east, he did not really feel a desire to rip this one apart.
ooc- ya, i have the same problem heree, g2g, ssry bout my post... i'll modify in the morning to make it better...

Wish snorted, angling her ears towards the buck- Eclipse-'s voice. "What is it you require of me, Eclipse of the Eastern realms. " She asked quietly, still keeping her eyes averted from the jaguar. "Perhaps, to claim?"
She walked slowly away from the crouching cat. "Things aren't what they claim to be, Eclipse. What conceptions do you hold me to? For I assure you. A wish is a curse more than a blessing." A cloud seemed to swallow the moonlight and the doe vanished, somehow still there, but not. A ghost. Waiting.

"claim?" said eclipse, as if the question sickened him. though clearly it did not as it had crossed his mind once already. the jaguar took a step towards the doe. Eclipse thought for a moment, then added "why, i intend to claim nothing that would not be won over. a doe taken by force, is nothing but a northerner in my paw. he grinned, figuring that his response had kept both his dignity and not made him look weak. Eclipse liked this doe, she seemed strong, and proud... not to mention beautiful. He eyed her, waiting for her response. ooc- btw... i will keep rpen wid u here FOREVER lol ... but also, if you wan, some of the faithful have moved to jack's deer rp site thegrazers.proboards105.com ... its a bit differnt than this site so... idk... lol ... but like i said, i'll rp here till the end of civilisation!, humanity!, the world!, ... no!, THE MULTI-VERCE!!! |

"Well, at least you have some sense." The clouds parted revealing Wish who was stretching out on a small boulder beneath an oak tree. "Not many have attempted to force me to change my mind and walk away afterwards." The doe frowned. "Actually, I can't remember one that still lives. Ah, well. What importance is memories?" Everything in the world. a small voice said, but she ignored it. lies. All lies.
She returned her attention to Eclipse. "Go on. Impress me."

"What need have i to impress you?" growled, indigently, cat like eyes glinting furiously. then he ventured so far as to add, "and i bet not many of those others were jaguars."
Eclipse watched as the doe got comfortable. it was an odd sight to him, to see a doe getting comfortable before the conversation even started. Her words came as an insult, and a threat to him... he didn't like ether. humph, he thought to himself, she's the one who should be trying to impress me. the thought was childish, and eclipse knew that, but he didn't care right now he just wanted to save his pride.

Wish shrugged. "I hoped you would be creative. One stag tried to show me that he could kill a wolf, another tried to demonstrate a his swimming skills. I found them both quite tiresome." She laughed. "But you'll do. You've got some spirit and pride." Wish smiled at Eclipse and got up again. "So, where o you want to go?"

ooc- btw, i replyed to our thread in the blooming wood "wolfs are pansies. and shape shifter can kill one these days." laughed eclipse. At her question, eclipse looked up at the moonlit sky. He just remembered the original reason he had chased the doe, hunger. But he didn't feel that now. Now his head was spinning from his facts being re-arranged, potential prey turning friend. this'll be a new one, he thought to himself, head spinning. Eclipse took a few paws in her direction, and turned into a magnificent stag, his markings on his chest gleaming in the moonlight, his coal pelt blending to the night. all the way up to his antlers that shone a sliverish color in the gloom. "i don't know" he finally said, shrugging. "u have any place in mind... i usually just... wander..." |

Wish noted the proud way that Eclipse stood. Pride was... good. Of coarse it could be dangerous. But what did that matter? He kept the ghosts away. "Wandering is fine with me." She replied with lightheartedness that was the opposite of her mood. 'Wandering is better than fleeing.' She thought. But she couldn't help wondering if by joining Eclipse, she set the ghosts on him to. She couldn't betray another like He had betrayed her.
