These violent delights have violent ends...

As the sun made it's slow accent in the eastern horizon, to light the lands once more with its brilliant light and to make a show of earth's true beauty. The cool winds blew a light breeze. The grasses danced and the leaves sang a melodic tune. A few bird had begun to wake and sing their morning songs, the songs that woke all the other creatures of the lands. The songs that poets wrote of and singers mocked. The songs that, when they died, left your ears ring for more.

The lean doe stepped out of the thicket of the forest into the land and looked around. Her pelt the same hue of burnt mahogany. Her mix-matched orbs examined the land around her. Then with a soft, light sigh she dropped her elegant crown slightly and walked forward out into the open. No one was here, thank the gods, but did she really want that? Did she really want the peace the loneliness brought?

She snorted and snapped at a few shoots that sprung up from the ground under foot. She flicked her harks forward, then back, catching every sound the world said to her, as she chewed at the grass. Feamor picked up a prancy trot around the meadow. Her movement much more graceful than any others before. The winds blew the lush grasses in waves. Mocking her.

Sanctuary's steps never faltered as she looked around the lands from her pacy prance. Her enchanting orbs ever searching. Ever waiting.

And in their triumph die, like fire and powder...

Cursico pulled up somemore grass, not even noticing when he pulled up the roots and a clumpful of soil as well. He absolutely loved spring grass, the only reason he didn't try to pull up the roots as well as the blades was because that would hinder the growth when spring came around again. The roots weren't as nice as the stalks anyway (Though that was probably because he never bothered to wipe off the dirt whilst eating.) so he might as well avoid it if doing so didn't disrupt him.
The buck swallowed his mouthful, and used his front right hoof to reveal more of the growing spring grass. He lowered his head, opened his salivating mouth for another bite... Before he spotted a deer-like figure in the corner of his eyes. Pulling up only the shoots he was supposed to this time, Cursico turned his head so he could look properly at Sanctuary. A doe, he was getting alot of does lately. He hoped she didn't want him to take her to a land he didn't own. What was it with that!? They were all stark-raving bonkers, it made no sense they didn't just get their own land and deal with it.
"Hmm" He intoned listlessly, black eyes rolling in their sockets. She looked as if she expected the world to fall at her feet. Well he wouldn't do it, if she cared to come over and acknowledge him first instead of expecting him to come running to her, he might redecide what he thought about her. Too many nut-cases running around. He'd not been around long, and already he'd had one doe get angry at him cause he wouldn't own her, and seen a stag come up to a doe acting all high and mighty with his land and his want to own her.
So many indicators he didn't come from around here. Still, he didn't miss his old herd so much. It was nice to wander freely without a huge-antlered stag glaring down at him. It was just his culture, and it was hard to adapt into the newness of this land. It was so alien to his young mind.

Winds blew lightly into her face. The smell they brought her made her steps freeze. Made her stop and looked about. The smell was that of a stag. A buck. It did not take her long to find him. He stood a few yards off gorging himself of the lush, green spring grasses of the land land. But this was not what made Sanctuary snort loudly and stomp her a small, two toed flint.

He looked at her as if she was sum. Something that did not deserve to be touched. She lowered her head and narrowed her eyes in aggression. What had she done to him? She had been but merely enjoying the niceness of the day. The bright morn' sun. 'But what has he done to show me ill grace?' she asked herself gently.

Nymph frowned slightly in thought and lifted her crown to look at him better. Her adventureness, playful side began to brake through. She smiled slyly and flicked her little tail. She started to trot toward the buck, then mid-bound she shimmered and landed as a large, lean she-wolf.

Huntress closed the space between herself and the young stag in two playful bounds. Her mix-matched orbs looked him over as she came to a stop a few feet away. She wagged her tail and smiled gently, sweetly.

"Good, morn' to you, good sir."

One again raising his head whilst chewing, Cursico's nose told him something he had come to expect had happened. The doe had shapeshifted, well if she intended to try and hunt him... The thought died as she bounded up, playful as a pup. He thought back to Syth, she had been nice then suddenly turned cruel, could this doe do a deja vu on him? Of course she could, he just wondered if she would. She had one blue eye which caught his attention first. A lone wolf had never been a problem in his herd, so the instinct to run when faced with the pack-predator out of pack had been subdued to the point where he only noticed it if there were hints of its pack nearby. Added with the knowledge the wolf was really a deer, and the sight it was smiling at him, fear wasn't forthcoming.

"Good, morn' to you, good sir."

Cursico couldn't help his own small smile pulling at his lips. Though her greeting was as formal as Syth's had been, there was something else. She hadn't instantly tried to get the preliminary name-swapping out of the way. Slowly, he lowered his head to her level, swallowing a section of his lunch beforehand.
"G'day Ma'am" He greeted just as formally, mimicking her smile as best he could. He almost could take away what he'd thought of her at first. One bitten twice shy. "So what on this fine day are you doing?" He asked, beginning to enjoy the way he was speaking. Maybe a new Cursico craze was coming up.

Famorra chuckled sweetly and smiled up at the stag. She had heard his words before. Not in the same order that he placed them in, but that was what she liked about them. Their uniqueness. How she hated to be like others. How she craved the company of ones who where not like others.

"Twas but enjoying the fine day, dear sir. And you? What doth the world's morn' bring you?"

She asked smiling sweetly all thew while. How many times she had been taunted by the way she spoke. The way where words sounded like it was spoken from the mouth of the god of the ages. But dear little, Sanctuary did not care what others thought of she.

Cursico chuckled himself when it was his turn to speak. He couldn't quite put his toe on what exactly was so funny, but then again analysing why something was funny certainly sucked all joy from it. Even the tender grass didn't distract him as he quickly bunched words together than wouldn't destroy the image, or make him sound like he was just copying off her. "Well sweet Lady, this bright mornin' brings me a delicious lunch." To prove it, he delicately plucked a few choice blades of grass up from the ground. Chewing with his mouth closed for a change.
Only what was behind him spoilt the moment. Not in the literal sense, just paranoia getting to him. It would hurt greatly to be used again for a single purpose that did not involve being with him because he was a good deer. "Though with thy lady as a wolf, it is reasonable to guess these stalks will taste less than satisfatory." Maybe he was overdoing it a bit, but at least he was enjoying himself.

Doe chuckled and sat down. She wagged her tail in amusement. Her audits flicked forward as to catch his words more clearly. They made him smile. His old english was nothing to down size. He spoke quite well, and tried to hold his own in their convertation.

"Fools wisdom seeps from your mouth like blood from a freashly slain soldier, sir. Thy should not let others under estimate thee. "

She smiled gently and watched him take up the freash shoots from the earth. She had always taken her wolf form over her deer one. Grass no longer held the intrest it once held in her youth. The taste no longer made her mouth water, or her stomic rumble in impactience to fill it.

"It would doth seem, my eyes now search for rubys in a sea of emeralds."

Cursico bent his head back, using the first branch of his horn to scratch his shoulder, to hide his confusion. He could ask her straight out what that meant, or try to wok out what rubies in emeralds meant. His first thought was that was that she was obsessed with shiny things and preferred red shiny things rather than green shiny things. And then a better idea occurred to Cursico as he turned his long neck back to her. She is looking for something special, but there are so many others to distract her. Seemed just about right. Still... He could be wrong.
Wrinkling his nose, Cursico Jake Sleath (Not related to Sleath Link Guest) decided as unlikely as it seemed, he preferred to think she liked red shiny things. "Am I right thinking you search for something special? An object that others have not the privilege to own?" Another ofhis short-sighted faults made him not flicker to the idea she could be looking for a person rather than an item.

Sanctuary smiled lightly at the stag.

"And as the last blood dripps from his slain body, your wisdom died, sir. But do not sorrow. Wisdome is something learned but something born. I search for something every being searches for."

Feamora spoke with a distant, airy voice. One that did not seem her own. Her dancing orbs never lost their fire, but it dulled slightly as she lost herself in thought.

Cursico sighed, bobbing his head. Great, a dead deer now that was the way to go. Well he still thought it was a great idea. Maybe he should have gone with the idea about shiny things, when you can't go for smart, humour is a great backdrop! Cursico slipped into his less-expressive wolf form, and now it was his turn to tilt his head up at her and wag his tail (That huge fluffy, fuzzy, adorable, cuddlable tail) in the air.
Mewling in the back of his throat for a while before mustering up the curiosity to ask (Really the courage, but he wouldn't admit that) what she wanted which everyone looked for- afterall "If its something everyone from the laziest sap looks for, then it must be easy to find." He stated first, "What is it? Seeing as I'm supposed to be looking for it too..." Cursico flashed his teeth in a grimace at going along with what everyone else was doing; he liked to be different.

She laughed, it was light and airy. Her eyes danced in amusement.

"Ay, but who said you looked for the same thing I search? I meerly stated that we all searched for something. Where as a lazy slouch searches for another laze. And a lover surches for one more moment with her love. I search for my other half. The oone the gods hath made for me, yet put it else where for me to find. What, may I be so bold to ask, do you seek, good sir? "

Sanctury smiled as he shifted to his form. A small wolf. She lay down on her stomach and smiled at him.

He wasn't all that smart when it came down to it. This was one of those times that proved it. His huge black eyes shifted to the side distractedly, before he glanced back with a wide-eyed stupidity. He was sure she'd said she searched for the same thing everyone else did. She really was making feel like a drained corpse, and he meant that in the nicest possible way.
"Urr..." He intoned, sure a string of drool dangling from his mouth would not look unplaced. Not that he would start drooling or anything, only at times like when he ate sand did drooling appeal. "Nothing really, maybe if I could find a pretty sapphire that would cheer me up..." He grinned impishly, hoping his attempt at humour would at least make him seem less stupid. (As he had thought earlier, humour was a great backdrop against smartness).

She chuckled and smiled a wolfy grin at him.

" Why a sapphire, sir? Why not a onyx? Or pearl?"

She voice was full of amusement. Her pink tongue lolled out of her mouth as she panted slightly in contentment.

Why Sapphires? Why pearl and onyx? Cursico pawed at the ground idily, leaving marks where his claws had touched earth. His ears would flick from fairly alert to fully allert at random intevals, which happened to match a flick of his bushy tail. "I like blue." He said eventually "Nice shiny blue. I would keep a sapphire somewhere safe then take it out on sunny days to admire its glow" Oddly enough, Cursico had never seen a sapphire in his life, for any precious jewel for that matter. His imagination was pretty close to the real thing, cut and processed, but more dazzling and awing.
Cheeky as a monkey, Cursico straightened and mimicked Sanctuary's posture, down to the hanging tongue. Doing okay, considering how clumsy and accident-prone he was.

Sanctuary chuckled and nodded.

"Only the beauty of the ocean deep can match that of a sapphire."

She said surely. Her blue and mocha orbs danced at his mimicky. She smiled and looked away.
